  • Session Description: The pandemic brought QR codes to the forefront of consumer engagement in the U.S., but a lot has happened since. All the classic strategies of marketing are available in one little square, yet many brands fail to utilize them properly. In this session Reed Kuhn, Head of Business Strategy at Branch, will share how some of the world’s most recognizable brands are using QR codes to drive value and preview best industry practices for QR trends in 2024.
  • Speaker: Reed Kuhn, Head of Business Strategy
  • Speaker Bio: Reed Kuhn is Head of Business Strategy at Branch, where he connects the massive data within the Branch platform to real customer impact. A former aerospace and defense strategy consultant, Reed left the industry and moved to Silicon Valley. Along the way, he invented his first app on an iPhone 3, co-founded an athlete management agency with MC Hammer, and authored the first-ever book on the sports analytics of professional cagefighting. He spent time in e-commerce SaaS working with global retail leaders, plus eventual stints at Walmart and eBay. For a decade, he has spent his weekends as ESPN’s gambling expert for mixed martial arts, making analytical predictions of UFC fights. He holds a B.S. in Physics from Washington & Lee University, a Master’s in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia, and an MBA from Duke University.

    • Speaker Bio: Irina is a visionary product leader with a proven track record of driving business success through strategic product innovation. Throughout her career, Irina has held key leadership roles at leading marketing technology companies, where she has been instrumental in shaping product roadmaps, launching successful products, and driving revenue growth. Her ability to anticipate market trends, identify customer needs, and translate insights into innovative product solutions has set her apart as a strategic thinker and results-oriented leader. Irina holds a Bachelor of Information Systems Engineering from Ben Gurion University and an MBA from HAAS Business School. She is also a Chief and serves as a mentor for emerging product leaders. Prior to Branch, Irina built and managed product teams at Grin, Data.ai, Skai, Adchemy, and Microsoft.
